Seke started crying.
"tHEY'LL aLL bE mINE!" She sobbed.
Shockingly, Ayato turned around and walked over to her. As did Subaru, who had a contorted look on his face.
"Seke..." Subaru grimaced. Then, all of the brothers were there, with a dumbstruck Cara watching.
"Seke wtgd? Isn't she crazy or something?" Cara asked.
Shuu looked straight at Cara. "We'll tell you later." They escorted a weeping Seke out.
A while later, Cara and the boys were in the parlour. The vampires all looked upset in varying degrees.
"What's up with Seke? Why do you let her hang around you? Isn't she just some stalkerish crazy?" Cara wondered.
Shuu, who seemed to be sleeping, was actually awake. "No. She was....supposed to be our sacrifice."
"Whoa what?! No wonder she went crazy! If I had to be stuck with you I would too..."
The boys all gave her a cold stare and she shut up.
This time, Kanato spoke up.
"She loved us all so much, isn't that right Teddy? She couldn't pick which one of us to be a sacrifice to, so she got caught in fate's claws." Then he did his signature creepy laugh.
Reiji made a noise something similar to a sigh. "It was...sad...to watch her slip away..."
Subaru piped up. "We don;t want that to happen to you either."
"Fate is cruel." Ayato growled.
Laito started talking. "Seke-chan was probably going to pick me if it weren't for Kanato."
Kanato chuckled. "Seke-onee-chan loved me and only me. I made sure of it."
The two brothers started fighting.
"It's your fault she ended up this way! You never knew what she liked or wanted! I always made sure she was happy and swept off her feet!" Laito shouted.
"Look who went soft. When did feelings ever matter? Seke-onee-chan was food. She was mine. You were weak because you could not control yourself." Kanato countered.
Laito was practically screaming now. "YOU NEVER HAD A HEART. THAT'S WHY YOU CAN'T FEEL ANYTHING. SEKE WAS GOING TO BE MY BRIDE AND WE WERE GOING TO RULE THIS FAMILY!"
Reiji got between them. "I think that's enough. You're disturbing Cara-san."
Cara was taken back. "So...if I fufill this retarded prophecy or whatever...Will I be helping Seke?"
Subaru thought, then answered. "There's no way of telling."
Cara gripped the knife nervously. "I'll...think about it."
Meanwhile, poor, insane Seke was still crying in another room.
